SOUND LEVEL MANAGEMENT AT CRICKET PAVILION

The noise regulation limits the total sound emission from the facility. To measure this sound, four microphones are placed at strategic locations around the perimeter of the facility. The Grozier system simultaneously measures the sound at all four microphones and then computes the total
sound emissions of the facility. This result is compared to the regulation dB limit and presented to management. The sound level is also measured at the mix location where an independent, non-regulatory limit is enforced. The sound engineer receives a running indication of his compliance.
